Question: What is a Max Bid?

Answer: You can enter a maximum bid that you are willing to pay for any lot. The program will bid for you up to the amount that you have entered. Once it has reached your maximum, the program will let you know you have been out bid and you will need to enter another bid. If your bid is the highest at the end of the auction and you have not yet reached your max bid, you will only pay that amount, not the max amount bid. To enter a max bid enter the maximum amount you are willing to bid to in the current bid box of the lot you are interested in and click on the blue Bid button. A pop up window will open and ask you to confirm the max bid you have entered, click on the Place Bid: $XX button to confirm your max bid. You will be returned to the auction page and the lot you are bidding on and it will notify you at the bottom of the items picture if you are the leading bidder or if you have been outbid (Current Bid Leading/Outbid). The program will automatically bid for you until you reach your max bid and you are outbid, or you win the item when the auction closes.

Question: What is a watchlist?

Answer: Watch lists are an easy way to keep track of the items you have bid on or are interested in. When you enter a bid on any of the lots in the current auction, it automatically becomes a watched item. You can also click on the star at the top right corner of any lot and add it to your watch list. At the top header of each auction is a Watched only button, check the box and the display will change to show you only the items you have currently bid on and the ones that you are interested in following. Clicking on the Watched only button again will return you to the complete listing of the auction.

Question: How do I know if I have one an item?

Answer: We no longer notify you if you are the winning bid of any lots. At the close of the auction, go to the Auctions page and scroll down to the Completed Auctions header. Click on the auction that you wish to check on and once it loads, click on the Watched only button. If you won the lot, it will show you as LEADING (green) and it will say Bidding Closed at the bottom of the lot. If you did not win the lot, it will say OUTBID (red). You will receive an invoice if you have won any bids.
